The many steep staircases create unnecessary hazards!!! The bathroom configurations could use a better layout for comfort and accessibility!!! Hot water temperature control should be a priority to prevent safety issues!!!

Consider requesting a room on a lower floor to avoid the steep stairs and enhance accessibility during your stay.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making for a pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. Comfortable beds ensured a restful night, complemented by the delightful breakfast that featured cured meats. a significant issue arose with a malfunctioning radiator that required room changes, and the bathroom in one of the rooms was in poor condition. unforeseen issues with the restaurant's service due to technical difficulties led to an unsatisfactory dining experience.

The Abbey Fields pub boasts a proper brilliant restaurant serving up hearty dishes that hit the spot. The breakfast? Top-notch! Plus, the staff are dead friendly, making you feel right at home. And the location? Couldn't be better—just a stroll away...

Enjoyed our night in this quaint hotel, complete with delightful original features. The breakfast was a highlight—perfectly cooked Eggs Royale! Make sure to arrive hungry. the portions are generous. A bit of character in the decor might surprise you. Worth a return visit!

I really enjoyed the spacious room and loved the lovely restaurant, where the signature burger was delicious! The attention to detail in amenities was impressive, too. I would definitely return, but maybe check room noise first.

Charming stay with friendly vibes

Had an awesome time, too short tho! The building’s got that cool old feel with wooden beams, and the staff are super helpful. My room was a bit snug but comfy enough, just watch out for those steep stairs! Breakfast was a highlight, loved it! Free parking's nice, but spaces were tight—had to luck out each night.

In a lovely, quiet area, the stay included a spotless, comfortable double room with great amenities like nice cosmetics and a relaxing bath. The staff proved to be incredibly friendly, and the fast check-in and check-out enhanced the experience. the dining options were disappointing, especially with limited fresh seafood selections and a lackluster atmosphere at dinner.

The location was perfect for exploring the historical village nearby, including the castle. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. I particularly enjoyed the delicious meals at the restaurant and the friendly reception staff who helped us with parking and showed us to our room. it was a bit noisy at night due to some plumbing sounds, which affected our sleep quality.
